People in recovery need community.
In a small town such as Big Bear City people see their friends in the grocery store or waving as they pass on the road .
The AA and NA meetings are numerous and intimate. Life long friendships are made there.
With so many low cost and no cost activities available in the valley,
the recovering person has a chance to slow down, connect with nature and enjoy new ways to have fun.
We are close to so much too. Redlands, San Bernardino, and Victorville are 60 minutes away. San Diego and Disneyland are only 2+ hours away.
There is free bus service throughout all of Big Bear.
Our Big Bear buses go to the San Bernardino bus terminal twice a day on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
